My co-parent told their family about our fight before telling me it upset them.

Side A (age 47)
I heard about my own argument secondhand from a sibling. My co-parent had described it to four people in Mexico City before ever saying to my face that it hurt them. I can't fix something I'm the last to hear about.
Side B (age 48)
Every time I raise something directly it turns into a debate I lose. So I talked to people who know me. That isn't a betrayal, that's what happens when the direct route stops working.
